PC case design and layout has changed very little in the last two decades. There are manufacturers out there pushing the envelope, trying to break the mold, but most are endless uncreative variations of the bland rectangular box and its tired internal layout we have become all too familiar with. Our vision of a luxury, high-performance system involved shattering this mold. We set out to create a system that would turn heads, raise a few eyebrows and excite the user or anyone who saw it. A system with a body as remarkable as the brains and brawn inside, at a level of quality and ingenuity not yet seen in the PC arena.

An evolution in design

Unsatisfied with the current state of PC case design, we have collaborated with the visionary engineering and design team at DARWINmachine to create something that pushes the boundaries of what a computer can be - a work of art. Their background in racecar design, engineering and architecture is apparent in the sleek design.


DARWINmachinesPure Luxury is a statement in elegant simplicity. Meant to be viewed from all angles, the rear panel is oriented to the ground, allowing the cables to exit the computer discretely, avoiding the usual clutter behind a conventional PC. The translucent cowling subtly reveals the aluminum structure underneath, hinting at its mechanical anatomy. Like its racecar brethren, Pure Luxury is easily modifiable and quickly adjustable as the components are attached to a true frame, making everything accessible, adjustable and removable with minimal effort. The central aluminum backbone acts as large heatsink. Combined with the exposed design, the Luxury runs very cool and silent, without the need for additional case fans.

Every Pure Luxury system begins with a hand-built chassis, custom made and tailored for each order and set of build specifications.


Available in cool blue or striking red, the brushed and anodized aluminum frame is adjusted and machined individually for each order to accommodate the owners requested components. Computer designed and CNC machined , the durable and rugged chassis will outlast any component and is easily upgradable. The translucent cladding covering the strong skeletal frame is Ecoresin, a beautiful and environmentally conscious material available in Quattro Carbon finish or supermatte/frosted white.


Every part, every detail, right down to the Mil-Spec screws and quick release component systems has been designed for efficiency, functionality, perfection. Let it breathe

The Pure Luxury's unique and open design allows for generous airflow and heat dissipation. All components attach directly to the central aluminum plate of the chassis, which performs double duty - not only providing a stable platform and easy accessibility, but also acting as a giant heatsink and allowing each component to vent openly rather than broil in the confines of a box. In our lab tests, we surprised even ourselves at the load temperatures and stability we were receiving. DARWINmachine's case allowed our systems to run cool and silent (never more than 30dB), without the need for alternative cooling methods.


Running at the default clock speed of 3.46 GHz under full load, the CPU (Intel Core i7-990x) temperature reached 29˚C - 58˚C.


Overclocked to 4.8 GHz - 5.2 GHz under full load, the CPU (Intel Core i7-990x) temperature reached 42˚C - 62˚C.


Temperatures on the GPU (GeForce GTX 580) under full load reached 72˚C - 84˚C.
